Sophia is a 22-year-old artist who specializes in drawing and painting. Born and raised in New Jersey, she earned her degree from Marist University, majoring in Media Studies with a minor in Fine Arts.
Her abilities stretch from painting, drawing, to mixed media and murals. Her passion stemmed from a young age, and she won her first fine arts award at Dwight-Englewood School when she was in high school. She was lucky enough to win the Jennifer Dressel Memorial Award and Scholarship from Marist University for her work in technical theatre and scenic design. As a senior in college, she won the Artistic Achievement Award from Marist Theatre for her artistic abilities and work in the theatre program. Her work was displayed in the Swartley Gallery at Dwight-Englewood School in December of 2023.
She continues to practice fine arts and improve her skills, and is passionate about sharing her work with others.
